The MARC Group

The MARC Group is dedicated to decreasing operating costs on military installations. Our model will alleviate the need to close commissaries while bringing greater value and savings to our men and women in the United States Armed Forces. The MARC Group has developed and implemented concepts and strategies through the Public Private Process that will reduce costs and save jobs. The MARC Group is a conduit between the private sector and the military.

Our Mission

We are currently undertaking the transformation of military installations by partnering with leading national and regional grocery and retail brands to serve the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. Our objective is to enhance sales, productivity, organization, military culture, and employee relations while reducing government expenditure through the restructuring of commissaries and exchanges.


The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) operates commissaries (grocery stores) that offer food and other necessities at a discount to members of the military, their families, and retirees. Currently, existing commissaries are facing financial hardships and government regulations to reduce spending. Our model will alleviate the need to close commissaries and allow the continuance of offering a service to those who risk their lives for our freedom.

Post Exchanges (PX) refer to retail stores located on military bases that rely on commissary operations. We firmly believe that the transition of both commissaries and post exchanges into alternative management models is the sole approach to ensure the continued accessibility and affordability of these benefits for military personnel. This approach aligns with recommendations put forth by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Government Accounting Office (GAO).
